Overview

Letterrankd is a free browser game. We don't require an account, we don't track you, and we don't sell data. This policy explains what minimal information is involved in running the site.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data during gameplay. There are no accounts, no login, and no cookies placed by Letterrankd itself. Your game session exists only in your browser's memory and is gone when you close the tab.

Your browser stores your mute setting and your finished Daily Challenge result locally (browser storage) so they are remembered on your device. After you finish a Daily Challenge, the ten right/wrong results of that run are also sent to our server and added to anonymous daily totals, which power the "how you compare" stats. These totals contain no name, account, or identifier, and cannot be linked back to you.

Third-Party Services

The site uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Vercel — hosts the site and may log standard server access data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for operational purposes.
• Vercel Analytics — collects anonymous page view and visitor statistics. It does not use cookies or track you across sites.
• TMDB — movie poster images are served from The Movie Database's CDN (image.tmdb.org). Your browser fetches these images directly.

Cookies

Letterrankd does not set any cookies. Third-party infrastructure (Vercel) may set technical cookies necessary to route requests.
